Enter the CTN 2023 Creative Writing Contest!

CTN is delighted to announce the return of the annual Short Story contest! This year presents a few exciting changes for interested writers. Participants will have the opportunity to enter their work into two separate categories, general and children’s short stories. Rules of Entry

· Must be 18 years of age

· Must submit $25 entry fee per submission on CTN Website to be considered

· The work must be the original work of the submitter

· The work must be a short story of 3000 words or less

· The author must declare the category/genre of the work:

o General (Any topic, genre, audience)

o Children’s (intended readers under 14 yrs)

· The work must be submitted in double-spaced 12-point New Times Roman type

· The work must be received at Justwrite@CTNBOOKS.com by June 30, 2023

· The author must agree to allow publication of the work by Changing The Narrative

· Publishers, after which all rights are the sole property of the author.

Judging

· Blind Submission to a panel of 3 qualified Judges

· Judges will receive all qualifying entries after the close of the submission date

· Finalists will be notified by email prior to the public announcement

First Prize in either the General or Children’s category:

· Complementary Display/Booth at the August 2023 Clarksville Independent Writers Fest

· $100 Amazon gift card

· Featured on the “CTN Books” website

· Featured interview at the Clarksville Independent Writers Fest
